Hey guys My company is participating in the Habitat for Humanity National Women’s Build and it will be my second year attending, WOO! (You can see a pic of the first year in my cover photo.) I will be working alongside my coworkers to build homes through volunteerism, fundraising, and teamwork. Although a lot has changed in the 27 years since the program was created, Women Build remains a strong program with a clear mission. The Women Build program has three goals:
• Engage women with Habitat’s mission of working in partnership with low income families to provide affordable housing.
• Teach women construction skills.
• Raise funds in support of Habitat for Humanity’s homeownership program.
I will be personally helping to support the project through volunteer labor, but we also need support financially. I am hoping to meet a minimum of $250 and I NEED HELP! Any contribution would be greatly appreciated as this goes to a fantastic cause, and I would personally be indebted to anyone of my friends here that would extend a helping hand! 

The money raised through Women Build helps expand their mission of preserving affordable housing. I am participating in the 2019 Women Build because we believe in the work of DuPage Habitat. I believe in helping individuals and families achieve strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter!
