Greetings,

I'm involved in an effort to help build a house in Hanover Park May 4th - 11th, 2019.

This effort is a part of a National Women Build Week that was created by Habitat for Humanity with Lowe's. The program invites women to devote at least one day and raise $250.00 to help families build strength, stability and independence through housing. The week is meant to spotlight the homeownership challenges faced by women.  

DuPage Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through construction, rehabilitating, and preserving homes, by advocating for fair and just housing policies, and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions.

A donation today (any amount is appreciated and it does add up!) to the cause would help the DuPage Habitat for Humanity organization reach their annual fundraising goal of raising $100,000.00. 

The money raised through Women Build helps expand their mission of preserving affordable housing. I am participating in the 2019 Women Build because we believe in the work of DuPage Habitat. I believe in helping individuals and families achieve strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter!
