| Our new Habitat Green Freedom neighborhood in Aurora will have seventeen net-zero homes built with solar panels to further our cause of sustainable affordable housing solutions. We are partnering with Nicor Gas to build a neighborhood of homes that will not only be solar-powered but will also use 98% energy-efficient appliances and technology. Not only will this help with affordability, as well as the environment, but this endeavor can’t be done alone. We are grateful to have the companies that have committed to donate products and services for this revolutionary new subdivision, however, we still need so much more to complete these homes for our families! |
